Banana Mango Smoothie with Pineapple.
A banana mango smoothie recipe mixed with pineapple that brings out the natural sugars of the fruit, this is what our body's need to get active in the mornings, having this type of smoothie will stop you from snacking on junk food, especially on the way to work. Having this mix of fruits as a breakfast smoothie will be a power house of vitamin B. There high sugar content is an excellent energy booster as well. The mango is another sugar booster of energy, all natural of cause, the pineapple is great for its enzyme called bromelain which will digest many times its own weight of protein. Great for marinading tough foods.
Ingredients: - 1 small banana
- ½ a mango
- ¼ pineapple
- A few mint leaves
Method:
Peel the fruit and chop into small pieces and place in a blender with 2 to 3 mint leaves, blend on a low speed for 20-30 seconds, gradually increase to high for another 20-30 seconds till all smooth.
This fruit smoothie recipe for breakfast will turn out quite thick, to compensate this, add fresh fruit juice or mineral water to thin it down to your liking. When done pour into a chilled glass and garnish with what ever fruit you have on hand or a mint leaf.
