This banana pancake can be the most

fulfilling breakfast, one that has A, B, B1, B2, B12, D, and E when ripe. This banana pancake recipe will be a delight to make and the end result will be – well I’ll leave that one to you guy’s…

Legion has a saying that goes a bit like this…In the Hindu religion, the banana was the fruit that Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat in terrestrial paradise. Who would ever though of that? With that in mind, here is the recipe for a banana pancake.

Ingredients for the pancake mix:

• 2 cups of self raising flour
• Ό cup of caster sugar
• 2 eggs from mother hen
• 1 cup of milk, soy, buttermilk
• A bit of butter for cooking

Method for pancake batter:

Sift the self raisin flour and the caster sugar into a mixing bowl add the eggs, Ύ of the milk and mix well on medium speed, add more milk if needed to make a fairly stiff but runny batter. Place in the fridge till ready.

Praline butter ingredients:

• 125g soft butter
• 1 tablespoon icing sugar
• 1 tablespoon maple syrup
• 55g of Almonds coarsely chopped up
• 1 honeycomb bar chopped up

Method for Praline butter:

Mix the butter in a electric mixer until it’s white and aerated, then add the icing sugar and the maple syrup mix till all combined, fold in the crushed honeycomb, and chopped Almonds, place in a cool area till needed.

Butterscotch banana ingredients:

• Ύ cup of brown sugar
• 125g of butter
• 300ml of thicken cream
• 2 bananas
• 60ml of golden syrup

Method for butterscotch banana:

Heat the butter in a small pan, add the brown sugar, and golden syrup while stirring over the heat but not boiling, do this till the sugar has dissolved and then simmer for two minutes uncovered.

Remove from the heat and add the cream while stirring. Add the roughly chopped banana and stir it in, keep warm till needed.

Final method:

Heat the butter in a heavy based pan, add a good spoonful of the pancake mix and cook till golden brown on both sides, place on a warm plate, top with butterscotch banana then the praline butter.

There you go, a banana pancake recipe with a warm filling of butterscotch banana and the melting praline butter over the top of the stack, what a way to start the day off.
