Delightful Kiwi Smoothie Recipe With Pear.
This kiwi smoothie recipe for breakfast is packed with the essential trace minerals and natural sugar that our body needs with the help of pears. The pear when ripe has a good source of soluble pectin which is a bowel regulator, apparently they actually eliminate the cholesterol from the body. The kiwi contains an enzyme called actinidin, which has a similar action to the papain found in pawpaw. Kiwis are superb for marinating tough foods, and added flavour, the kiwi goes great with plums and peaches as a breakfast smoothie as well.
Ingredients: - 1 peeled kiwi
- 1 small ripe pear
Method:
Core the pear and cut the kiwi and pear into bit size pieces and place in a blender, blend for 20 seconds on a low speed, gradually increase the speed to medium for 20 to 30 seconds or till smooth in texture.
