Papaya smoothie recipe is a refreshing breakfast experience. Our body will turn betacarotene (which comes from the pawpaw) into vitamin A, which is the good stuff for our skin. Papaya are beneficial for our eyes as well but, the good stuff that we will all benefit from, is it's antioxidant and detoxifying properties. Mix and match with any type of yoghurt you like, it will bring out more flavors. You could even freeze a tray of yoghurt cubes and add them to thicken the smoothie up to your liking.

Method:Peel and clean the papaya, then peel the lemon and take the seeds out if any, chop the two fruits into bite size pieces. Put the fruit into a blender and blend on medium speed for 20-30 seconds, add the yoghurt, a spoon full at a time till your consistency is achieved. Gradually increase the speed to high for another 20 to 30 seconds till a smooth thickish texture is formed. When done pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a piece of fruit you have on hand.
