Pawpaw Smoothie Recipe.

Making this pawpaw smoothie recipe will be a refreshing experience. The pawpaw will help prevent skin disorders and our body will turn betacarotene (which comes from the pawpaw) into vitamin A, which is the good stuff for our skin.

Pawpaws are beneficial for our eyes as well as our skin, but, the good stuff that we will all benefit from, is it's antioxidant and detoxifying properties. This will help us start a better life style.

Mix and match with any type of yoghurt you like, it will bring out more flavors. You could even freeze a tray of yoghurt cubes and add them to thicken the smoothie up to your liking.

A pawpaw smoothie recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small pawpaw
  • 1 lemon
  • Any type of yoghurt you feel like

Method:

Peel and clean the pawpaw, then peel the lemon and take the seeds out if any, chop the two fruits into bite size pieces. Put the fruit into a blender and blend on low speed for 20-30 seconds, add the yoghurt, a spoon full at a time till your consistency is achieved. Gradually increase the speed to high for another 20 to 30 seconds, it should turn out to a smooth thickish texture.

When done pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a piece of fruit you have on hand. This pawpaw smoothie should make two to three glasses.
