This tropical smoothie recipe is one of the best breakfast smoothies we've had so far. If you feel that this breakfast fruit smoothie is to large you could dice the fruit and freeze some in a zip lock bag. It will last in the freezer for up to three months. Doing it this way you will have frozen fruit for the next breakfast smoothie that you make. Having a heavy duty blender will be worth it in the long run as well. The commercial blenders will last longer then a domestic blender, as they are more gutsy. When you use the honey it's best to have it at room temperature, it will mix better then honey straight out of the fridge. Ingredients:
Method:Peel the fruit and chop it into small pieces, place all the fruit and nectar into your blender with the cinnamon and honey, blend for 20-30 seconds on medium. Gradually increase the speed to high for another 30 seconds or until a smooth texture is formed. Taste the smoothie first to see if it needs more honey or cinnamon. If you like, mix half at a time then pour into a bowl and whisk both parts together, when all blended pour into large chilled glass and garnish with what you have around and enjoy. If you like to make your own milk and dairy alternatives I have some for you on that page. This tropical smoothie recipe is refreshing and has a smooth texture to it, it's ideal for the tropics sitting by the pool relaxing. To more breakfast smoothie recipes
